Cleaning is the biggest pain of dabbing, amirite? TSP is a quartz cleaning device that is automated and provides a faster cleaning process than soaking, yet has a small enough footprint to fit on your sesh table! Works for Slurpers, Control Towers, Terp Arresters, XXXL Demons, and any other good ol’ banger! Size: 6.5″ tall X 5″ wide. Scroll down for a detailed description!
TSP is a revolutionary product to bring you an automated process to clean your quartz quickly and easily with a small enough footprint to fit on your sesh table.
The TSP cleans your dirty quartz faster, (less than 30s) much faster than soaking and only runs alcohol through the dirty parts of your quartz.
No more residue on the outside of your quartz from soaking in semi-dirty ISO (99% isopropyl alcohol). Reduces alcohol & q-tip usage.
Keep your quartz pristine!
What size quartz are compatible?
Does it work for 45 or 55 degree nails?
- Yes, it works for all quartz (45, 55 and 90 degree)
Does it work for buckets?
What is the plastic, is the 3d printed internal compatible with iso?
- PLA+, yes compatible with iso and polar solvents
Is the pump compatible with iso?
- yes compatible with iso and polar solvents
How often do you need to replace the alcohol?
- Heavy usage: 2-3 days
- Moderate usage: 6-7 days
Do I still need to qtip?
- Optional but can be used for excess residue to preserve cleanliness of TSP iso.
- Can also be used for drying step.
What happens if I don’t spray clean iso after the TSP cleans?
- If the TSP iso is dirty, the residual on the nail will cause chaz, using a final clean iso spray ensures that any dirty iso is washed away so there is less potential for chazing.
Is it a wall plug in or battery?
- Both (TSP is also very low power and can run for weeks off the small battery we sell on terpslurppump.com) and we velcro that battery to the side of TSP for ease of travel
Can it clean rigs or puffco parts?
- No not rigs yet, but we may make a future product for that. YES IT CAN CLEAN YOUR PUFFCO ATOMIZER and other small accessories.
Does it clean joint glass tips?
- Yes, we made an adapter specifically for glass tips and other small accessories!
Can it clean with the pillar still in?
- For best results, dump out the pillar into a small pillar dunk first. (Available on terpslurppump.com)
Does it clean better than soaking?
- YES VERY MUCH SO!!! The 99% ISO being pumped through the neck, inside, and outside of the warm quartz cleans significant better than just setting your warm quartz in a dunk tank.
Does it clean better than sonicating?
- YES SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER! While a sonic bath cleans a little better than a dunk tank. It’s not much better, and way worse clean than TSP! It vibrates the ISO, but it doesn’t pump it through the neck and barrel, so there’s still residual left inside your slurp or bucket. (Also isonic baths can cause unnecessary pressure to the welds of quartz, and on the work quality welds it can cause breakage)
PLA Concerns:
Degradation of PLA occurs primarily above 60C which is 140F+. That’s if the alcohol the pla is sitting in is higher than that. It gets worse with 120C+. But cold iso is compatible and similar to water with regard to plastic compatibility.
Since the potential issues would be related to weakening of structural integrity causing cracking, warping or swelling of the PLA, we have been conducting stress tests with TSP units left on with dirty ISO over months to ensure no changes are occurring to the PLA parts exposed to ISO.
In addition, we have had pillar dunk tank jars with the same PLA printed material soaking for multiple years that have not changed or lost structural integrity. NO LEACHING AT ALL! (The only time PLA will deform/leach in 99% ISO is when you put hot quartz on the PLA like a dunk tank, not a problem with TSP)
So in conclusion, while PLA may have compatibility conflicts with hot ISO, for our product’s intended use there is no impact to the structural integrity, which is supported from our stress testing.
Electricity and pump:
We have run tests where we kept the pump running with dirty ISO for many months straight. And it continued to run strong. We also have units out in the field for 2+ years testing with our alpha testers and they’re still running strong with no problems.
One of our founders is a chemist with a background in rigorous testing protocols. Per his input, ISO is a polar solvent that is semi-flammable but more similar to water than to gasoline/hexane, so ISO doesn’t have that low of a vapor pressure and will not volatilize as easily. It’s the vapors that are flammable vs the liquid with other more flammable substances.
The pump is rated for nonpolar solvents, and we are testing it under stress without breaks in function to ensure our users will have no issues.
We have done months of testing without stopping and are very confident in the safety of our product for our community.
